I am an RCUK Academic Fellow at the Mathematics Institute at University of Warwick. I hold a joint appointment with the Warwick Centre for Complexity Science.

My main areas of scientific expertise are turbulence and non-equilibrium statistical mechanics. Specific problems of current interest include power fluctuations in hydrodynamic turbulence, statistical properties of wave turbulence, atmospheric dynamics and non-mean-field effects in aggregating particle systems.
